Minco PLC14 February 2006 MINCO PLC ("Minco" or "THE COMPANY") NOTIFIABLE INTEREST - REDUCTION IN SHAREHOLDING 14 February 2006 Minco PLC reports that it has been advised by Matthew L. Dorman, a formerDirector and previously Chief Executive Officer who resigned with effect from 14December 2005, that following recent share disposals he holds 4,200,679 sharesin the Company, as of 11 February 2006, representing approximately 2.6 per cent.out of the total outstanding 159,186,546 shares. The notification confirms that since his resignation Mr. Dorman has reduced hisshareholding by 4,450,000 shares from his last prior notification and no longerhas a notifiable interest in the Company.
