Maple Energy plc (AIM: MPLE; LIMA: MPLE), an integrated energy company with assets in Peru, was notified on 26 January 2011 that on 14 January 2011, Citigroup Global Markets UK Equity Limited had increased its holdings to a beneficial interest in 8,561,666 ordinary shares representing 5.74% of the issued and outstanding share capital of the Company on a non-diluted basis.
