Victoria Oil & Gas PLC12 December 2006 Victoria Oil & Gas Plc 12 December 2006 Significant Shareholding Amended Notification Victoria Oil & Gas Plc (the "Company") has been informed by Barclays PLC ("Barclays") that due to an error the Company was incorrectly notified thatBarclays and its direct and indirect subsidiaries had made a relevant change intheir holding in the Ordinary Shares of the Company, as was announced by theCompany on 28 November, 2006. The Company was notified by Barclays on 11 December 2006 that its holding andthat of its direct and indirect subsidiaries in the Ordinary Shares of theCompany was 14,011,283 representing 12.12% of the issued ordinary share capital.
