We hereby notify you that as at close of business on 11th May 2006, the GoldmanSachs Group, Inc ("GS Inc") of 85 Broad Street, New York, NY 10004, USA, wasinterested, by attribution only, in a total of 344,975,866 shares. Of these 344,975,866 shares: • The interest in 332,678,048 shares arose from the interest held byGoldman, Sachs & Co, a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of GS Inc., acting ascustodian for its customers. These shares are, or will be, registered in thename of Goldman Sachs Securities (Nominees) Limited. Note: The beneficial owner of 331,958,286 of these shares remains MaxonInvestments BV ("Maxon"). Mark Dixon, Chief Executive of Regus Group plc, ownsa 100% interest in Maxon. • The interest in 9,072,818 shares arose from a beneficial interest heldby Goldman Sachs International, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of GS Inc.These shares are, or will be, registered at CREST in account CREPTEMP. • The interest in 3,225,000 shares arose from the interest held bysubsidiaries of GS Inc acting as discretionary managers.
