Legal title to the 2,874,800 shares previously held by IP2IPO Nominees Limited on behalf of members of IP Group plc staff under a nominee agreement has now been transferred to the beneficial holders of those shares.
Of those shares whose legal title has been transferred to their beneficial owners, 575,000 belong to Mike Townend, a director of the Company, as disclosed in the Company's 2008 Annual Report & Accounts.
