DEALINGS BY SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERSGeest PLC was notified on 10 March 2005, pursuant to Section 198 of theCompanies Act 1985 ( the Act), that Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited(CSFBEL) now has the following interest in the issued share capital of theCompany: 1. Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited ( CSFBEL): 5,159,310 shares 2. Credit Suisse First Boston International Limited (CSFBI): 1,972 shares. CSFB (as defined below) now holds a total interest of 5,161,282 shares beingequivalent to approximately 7.06% of the issued share capital of the Company.CSFBEL and CSFBI are members of the Credit Suisse First Boston Group ofCompanies (CSFB).
