Jarvis PLC08 February 2008 Jarvis plc ("the Company") reports that it has been notified by JPMorgan Chase &Co. in correspondence dated 8/2/08 attaching a copy of a TR-1 Notifications ofMajor Interests in Shares that following transactions on 6/2/08 JPMorgan Chase &Co. through shareholdings held by J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and JPMorgan AssetManagement (UK) Limited has a combined direct and indirect holding over11,017,247 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company representing 5.16% ofthe voting rights in and the issued share capital of the Company. 8,022,911ordinary shares are held directly representing 3.76% of the voting rights in andthe issued share capital of the Company. 2,994,336 shares are held indirectlyrepresenting 1.40% of the voting rights in and the issued share capital of theCompany.
