AMEC PLC11 November 2005 AMEC plc 11 November 2005 Pursuant to our obligations under the Listing Rules, we hereby advise you thatwe have today received a notification (dated 10 November 2005) from MorganStanley Securities Limited ("MSSL") stating that, on 8 November 2005, they andthe group companies which are direct or indirect holding companies of MSSLdisposed of an interest that resulted in their holding a notifiable interest of21,369,685 shares in the Company, representing 6.42% of the issued share capitalof AMEC plc. MSSL state that the interest in 14,245,095 of these shares is pursuant toSection 208(5) of the Companies Act 1985. MSSL had previously notified an interest of 27,484,203 ordinary shares on 18October 2005, which at that time represented 8.26% of the issued share capitalof AMEC plc.
