Maple Energy plc (AIM: MPLE; LIMA: MPLE), an integrated energy company with assets in Peru, was notified on 2 June 2011 that on 31 May 2011, BlackRock, Inc., had increased its indirect holdings to a beneficial interest in 4,747,022 ordinary shares representing 3.18% of the issued and outstanding ordinary share capital of the Company on a non-diluted basis.
