The increase in voting rights resulted from a SCRIP dividend received on May 13, 2011. 2175970 Ontario Inc., another wholly owned subsidiary of OTPPB, already holds 34,118,854 ordinary shares of Hammerson plc representing 4.824% of the ordinary shares in Hammerson plc. Thus, the aggregate holdings of ordinary shares in Hammerson plc of subsidiaries of OTPPB is 85,625,393 shares representing 12.107% of its issued share capital. |
