Inmarsat PLC17 March 2006 17th March 2006 Notifiable Interest in the Ordinary Shares of Inmarsat plc Inmarsat plc was notified on 16th March 2006 by Morgan Stanley SecuritiesLimited (Morgan Stanley) in the following terms: Open quote: On 14 March 2006, Morgan Stanley Securities Limited (Morgan Stanley) enteredinto underwriting arrangements (pursuant to a placing agreement dated 13 March2006) with, inter alia, certain funds advised by Apax Partners Worldwide LLP,certain funds advised by Permira, Comsat Investments Inc., a subsidiary ofLockheed Martin Corporation and Telenor Satellite Broadcasting AS (together, theSelling Shareholders) pursuant to which Morgan Stanley agreed to procurepurchasers for, or failing which itself to purchase, 37,067,527 ordinary sharesof €0.0005 each in the capital of the Company (the Ordinary Shares) which arecurrently owned by the Selling Shareholders.
