Sanctuary Group PLC30 November 2005 Notification of Major interests in shares The Sanctuary Group plc ('the Company') 30 November 2005 The Company was notified on 29 November 2005 that as at close of business on 27November 2005 Morgan Stanley Securities Limited ("MSSL") acquired an interest inthe ordinary shares of the Company with the result that MSSL has an interest in33,959,242 Ordinary Shares of the Company, representing 9.15% of the Company'sissued share capital. At the same time, MSSL has notified the Company that from time to time MSSL hastransferred 9,599,000 shares to a third party on terms which gives MSSL theright to require the return of an equivalent number of shares.
