Sainsbury(J) PLC24 March 2006 24 March 2006 J Sainsbury plc has been informed by Miss Judith Portrait in her capacity asTrustee of various Sainsbury Settlements including Charitable Trusts, that hersubstantial interest in the Company has decreased. As a result her reportable interest is now 17 per cent instead of the 18 percent previously reported. Judith Portrait is now interested in 308,124,373shares.
