Corporate Services Group PLC07 June 2005 The Corporate Services Group plc (the "Company") The Company has been informed on 7 June 2005 that Schroder Investment ManagementLimited ("SIML") have an interest in 147,263,479 ordinary shares of 1p each inthe Company ("Ordinary Shares"), which are held in portfolios managed on adiscretionary basis for clients under investment management agreements. Included in the above figure are: i. 1,104,542 Ordinary Shares registered or to be registered in the name of SIML's wholly-owned subsidiary nominee company, Schroder Nominees Limited (Schroder Nominees); ii. 64,528,682 Ordinary Shares held in (a) unit trust(s) operated and managed by an affiliated company of SIML, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited ("SUTL"), and registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited; iii. 24,550,631 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme Nominees Ltd account: P; iv. 25,352,039 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Chase Manhattan Bank; v. 1,504,731 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited; vi. 1,663,080 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited account: 03886; vii. 24,936,102 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Mineworkers' Pension Scheme (client) Nominees Limited account: R; viii. 817,027 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Nortrust Nominees Limited; ix. 2,806,645 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of State Street Nominees Ltd account: 5H57; As a consequence SIML, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies have aninterest in an overall aggregate of 147,263,479 Ordinary Shares representingapproximately 13.7% of the total number Ordinary Shares currently in issue. This notification is made: (a) in respect of SIML's interest as investment managers,(b) on behalf of SUTL in relation to the interests they are treated as having under the Companies Act 1985 (the "Act"), and(c) on behalf of Schroders plc, which is treated as having an interest in all of the above shares under the Act by virtue of its ownership of SUTL and SIML.
