African Minerals Limited (AIM:AMI), the mineral exploration company with significant interests in Sierra Leone, West Africa, announces that the Company received notification yesterday from The Capital Group Companies, Inc. ("Capital Group") that, as of 29 October 2008, Capital Group has an interest in 17,586,000 common shares of the Company, representing 9.38 per cent of the Company's total issued share capital.
