Holding(s) in Company Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") was informed on 28 November 2006 that as at 22November 2006 AMVESCAP PLC ("AMVESCAP") and subsidiary companies on behalf ofdiscretionary clients have a notifiable interest for the purposes of Part VI ofthe Companies Act 1985 in 49,136,431 ordinary shares in the Company, being 10.03per cent. of the ordinary share capital.
