Notification of Major Interest in Shares

St. Modwen Properties PLC ("St. Modwen" or the "Company") announces that it has been notified that, on 10th August 2017, 129,969 existing ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") were sold by a member of the Leavesley family (the "Leavesley Family") at a price of 340.8635 pence per share.

The Ordinary Shares sold amount to approximately 0.06 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following the sale, the Leavesley Family holds 13,317,130 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.99 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
