TR-1: Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification
today from Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR") of an acquisition of voting rights on 7 October 2008 such that Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited ("Credit Agricole") at 7 October 2008 had a direct interest in 14,469,253 (6.45%) ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares").
The Chain of controlled undertakings through which the voting rights are effectively held is as follows:
