Jarvis PLC21 March 2007 Jarvis plc reports that it has been advised by JP Morgan on 21 March 2007, usinga copy of a TR1 notification of major interest in shares that, following atransaction on 26 January 2007, JPMorgan Chase & Co through shareholdings heldby J. P. Morgan Securities Inc. and JP Morgan Asset Management (UK) Limited havea combined direct and indirect holding over 21,934,326 ordinary shares in thecapital of the Company representing 13.22% of the current issued capital of theCompany. They have advised that their holding increased to 11.14% during 2006 as a resultof acquisition of shares by J. P. Morgan Securities Inc. and JP Morgan AssetManagement (UK) Limited. Further Shares were acquired by JP Morgan AssetManagement (UK) Limited in January 2007 resulting in a holding of 12.04% on 22January 2007. This notification of 13.22% amends the previous notification ofSeptember 2005 and includes holdings not previously notified to the Company.
