Tanfield Group PLC02 May 2006 Tanfield Group PLC ("Tanfield" or "the Company") HOLDING IN COMPANY Following a recent transaction in the Ordinary shares of 1p each of TanfieldGroup plc , Jupiter Asset Management Limited ("Jupiter") notified the Company on28 April 2006 that it has an aggregate holding of 17,651,500 shares in theCompany which represents 7.34 per cent. on an issued share capital of240,544,000. Jupiter further notifies, on behalf of its client, Jupiter Primadona GrowthTrust Plc ("Jupiter Primadona") that Jupiter Primadona holds 5,050,000 Ordinaryshares in the Company which represents 2.10 per cent. of the total share capitalof 240,544,000.
