Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') has received notification today from BlackRock Inc. of an increase in its shareholding in the Company. Following the acquisition of 1,572,291 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company, BlackRock Inc. is now the holder of 5,344,226 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin. This holding represents approximately 4.26% of the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.
