Vinaland Limited ("VNL" or "the Company"), an AIM-traded investment company with a primary focus on real estate investment within Vietnam's emerging market, announces that VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited ("VOF") , an AIM-traded closed-end fund also managed by VinaCapital Investment Management Limited, has today notified the Company that on 29 September 2010, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Vietnam Master Holding II Ltd, VOF purchased 5,484,330 ordinary shares of US$0.01 in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

 

As a result of this transaction, VOF is interested in 36,216,326 Ordinary Shares which represents 7.24 percent of VNL's total voting rights.
