LONDON, England - 16 November 2012 - Optimal Payments Plc (AIM: OPAY) received notification on 15 November 2012 that Franklin Templeton Institutional, LLC ("Franklin") now has a beneficial interest in the Company's shares that resulted in Franklin holding a total of 22,506,637 ordinary shares representing approximately 16.53% of the issued share capital and votes of the Company.

As at 15 November 2012, the Company had 136,162,801 ordinary shares in issuewith voting rights.
