Oxus Gold PLC06 July 2006 For immediate release: 06 July 2006 Oxus Gold plc Correction - Holdings in Company London: 6 July 2006 - Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") wishes toadvise the following corrections to the announcements released on 25 May 2006and 29 June 2006 respectively. 1. The resultant holding for Douglas Sutherland is 179,379 rather than 179,925. The corrected version of the 25 May 2006 release is below: Application has been made for 12,226 new ordinary shares of 1p each in theCompany to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of London Stock Exchangeplc. The shares were allotted to certain non-executive directors of the Companyon 19 May 2006 as consideration for quarterly fees for the period January toMarch 2006. The corrected version of the 29 June 2006 release is below: The Company received notification on 29 June 2006 that, Darryl Norton, a director of the Company, was informed on 22 June 2006 that as a result of the Marakand Minerals reorganisation is interested in 4,023,333 Oxus ordinary shares of 1 pence each, representing approximately 1.35 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
