HMS Group signs Rub 2.7 BN contracts for Kursk NPP-2
Moscow, Russia – May 24, 2017 - HMS Group (LSE: HMSG) announces today that it has signed contracts worth 2.7 billion rubles for delivery of pumping equipment for Kursk Nuclear Power Plant Phase II.
The plant is being constructed based on the design by ROSATOM to replace Kursk reactors, which are to be decommissioned. The commissioning of first two reactors within Phase II is planned to be synchronized with the decommissioning of the existing reactors of the plant.
In 2018-2022, the company will deliver 188 pumping units. These safety-significant pumping units, including main feed, auxiliary feed water and condensate pumps, primary cycle emergency cooldown pumps, spray pumps, component cooling water pumps, will be designed according to the projects’ requirements.
