Best Co. has awarded Hiscox Insurance Company (Guernsey) Limited ("HiscoxGuernsey") a financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) with a stable outlook. The A.M. Best rating was granted based on Hiscox Guernsey's "excellentrisk-adjusted capitalisation, consistently strong financial performance andstrong business profile for the specialist classes written." Robert Hiscox, Chairman of Hiscox commented: "Hiscox Guernsey has grown into amajor financial institution on the island. The successful regional expansionprovides a good balance to our Global Markets operation and we plan to furthergrow our Hiscox Guernsey business."
