High Grade Surface Copper and Silver at Paguanta

 (Paguanta Project in Northern Chile)

Highlights:

·; High grade copper and silver results returned from sampling the 'Doris' prospect

Herencia Resources Plc (AIM: HER) is pleased to advise that it has received numerous high grade copper and silver assay results from its Paguanta Project in northern Chile.

Surface sampling of the 'Doris' prospect, located approximately 1,500m NE of the main 'Patricia' zinc-lead-silver-gold Mineral Resource and approximately 1,500m SE of the 'La Rosa' porphyry-copper target, has returned the following high grade copper and silver assay results:

All samples assayed by ALS La Serena 1kg 85% passing 75 micron HF-HNO3 - HClO4 digest

AAS AA26 ore grade finish DL - Pb 0.01-30%, Zn 0.01 -30% Ag 1-1500ppm,

Sample ID co-ordinate grid is PSAD56 UTM Zone 19S.

The high grade assay results were obtained from 'rock-chip' sampling in an area of approximately 200m x 200m of outcropping surface Chrysocolla mineralisation, a secondary mineral which can occur in the oxidized zones of copper deposits.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director Michael Bohm stated:

"These are excellent results. With drilling finishing-up successfully at Paguanta recently, we turned our Geology teams attention to the 'Doris' prospect, which we had previously identified internally as worthy of follow-up sampling. Whilst early days for 'Doris', these initial high grade copper and silver results are very encouraging.

The Paguanta Project is located right in the middle of the world's greatest copper belt. We have already confirmed an existing, and open ended, zinc-lead-silver-gold Mineral Resource at Paguanta and we have now confirmed nearby high grade copper and silver grades at surface, all located within the same granted mining leases.

The Company will now review these results from 'Doris' and plan an additional work program. In addition to progressing toward potential development of a zinc-silver-lead-gold mine within the next 2.5 years at Paguanta, it remains our firm belief that the Paguanta Project area has substantially more to offer."
