High Court Petition Update
Mwana is pleased to announce that, further to the Company's announcement on 5 June 2015, China International Mining Group Corporation ("CIMGC"), a substantial shareholder in Mwana, and Mr Ning, a Non-Executive Director and associate of CIMGC, have settled with the Company all claims with respect to their petition issued in the Companies Court (part of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice) on 8 December 2014 against the Company.
In addition to the withdrawal of the petition against Messrs. Botha and Morris, two former directors of the Company, as detailed in the announcement on 5 June 2015, CIMGC and Mr Ning have now agreed to withdraw also their petition against the Company as part of the settlement.
