Report 30/2014: High Bank's ratings affirmed by Standard and Poor's thanks to its strong capital and market position
Management Board of Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna ("Bank") informs that on 22nd of December 2014 rating agency Standard & Poor's Ratings Services ("Standard & Poor's") confirmed Bank's ratings at unchanged levels.
In the result Bank's ratings are as follows:
long-term credit rating: 'BBB+'
short-term rating: 'A-2'
outlook: 'stable'
stand-alone rating: 'bbb+'
In rationale Standard & Poor's among others indicated Bank's "strong" business position, "adequate" risk and liquidity position and "average" funding.
The stable outlook of Bank's ratings reflects Standard and Poor's is convinced that Bank's business and financial profiles will remain unchanged over the next 18-24 months.
Review and confirmation of the rating was conducted within review of ratings of the UniCredit Group banks following downgrade of Italy's rating.
