Heron Corporation29 March 2005 Heron notes Panel deadline The board of Heron Corporation ("Heron") notes the Takeover Panel's decision toset Wednesday 4 May 2005 to be the date by which Heron must announce whether ornot it intends to make an offer for the issued ordinary share capital of CrestNicholson plc ("Crest Nicholson"). Heron believes that this deadline puts an onus on the board of Crest Nicholsonto address the announcement of 16 March by Heron and allow Heron access toinformation on the business of Crest Nicholson in order to carry out duediligence. Heron urges the shareholders of Crest Nicholson to encourage theboard of Crest Nicholson to allow Heron access to information in order thatshareholders may be given the opportunity to consider on its merits a possiblecash offer for their shares from Heron.
