Herencia Announces Management Succession

Mike Bohm, the current Managing Director of Herencia, has advised the Board that, for personal reasons, he intends to step down from his operational role with effect from 30 June 2012.

The Board has identified a successor, Graeme Sloan, who will commence duties with Herencia in May 2012 and subject to regulatory approvals will join the board thereafter. It is intended that there will be a handover period before Mike relinquishes the role formally on 30 June 2012.

The Board is delighted that Mike will be staying on with the Company as a Non-Executive Director noting that with his wife, Charmaine Lobo, he holds 35,126,249 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.31% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Commenting, the Chairman John Moore said "On behalf of the Board and our shareholders, I would like to thank Mike for his tireless work over the past six years. He has made an enormous contribution to the Company. With his drive and enthusiasm he has built a solid platform for growth. We are delighted that he is staying on in a Non-Executive role.

As we move forward onto the next phase of our development, I look forward to welcoming Graeme Sloan to the Company. Graeme has over 30 years of experience in the resources sector in Australia and North America including senior management positions in project development and mine operations, as well as previous Managing Director positions with ASX listed mining companies."

Mike Bohm said "I have thoroughly enjoyed developing Herencia from an exploration start-up, to where we are today and I am proud of what the team has achieved in Chile."

Commenting on his appointment Graeme Sloan said, "I am excited to be joining Herencia and I look forward to working with the team to advance their projects."

A further announcement will be made following receipt of the relevant regulatory approvals and prior to Graeme's appointment to the board.
