Heathrow Update

12th Aug 2005 16:36

Watermark Group PLC12 August 2005 For immediate release: 12 August 2005 Watermark Group plc ("Watermark" or "the Company") Watermark Group plc, the leading provider of inflight catering, products andcabin management services to the airline and travel industry, has noted thecurrent industrial unrest at London's Heathrow Airport, and today updatesshareholders on the implications for Watermark and more particularly it'scatering division, Air Fayre. There is no industrial unrest at any of Watermark's facilities, which areentirely unaffected by the disruption. The disruption of service by one of itscompetitors is clearly an opportunity to gain new contracts for Air Fayre, whether immediately or in the medium term. Air Fayre has capacity to take onnew contracts at its new 141,000 square foot Heathrow facility. So far, Air Fayre has agreed to provide catering to one affected airline, initially on a short term basis, with a view to developing a longer termrelationship. The Company is also in discussion with other airlines.
