Healthcare Contract Wins and New Appointments

Ideagen PLC (AIM: IDEA), a leading supplier of Compliance based Information Management, is pleased to announce that it has signed £280k of new contracts and has appointed two business development professionals within its recently acquired healthcare business, Plumtree Group Limited ("Plumtree").

Contract wins

Following the acquisition of Plumtree announced on the 21st December 2012, Ideagen has successfully completed the initial integration of the business and signed new contracts with the Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, Mid Staffs NHS Foundation Trust, East Kent Hospitals University Foundation NHS Trust and NHS Dumfries & Galloway for the provision of 'dart EDM', its flagship product Electronic Data Management solution to the healthcare sector, to be delivered over the next twelve months.

New appointments

The Company believes that there is a significant market opportunity within the highly regulated healthcare sector and has hired two experienced business development professionals in order to drive further revenue growth.

Nick Hodgson has joined from CSC and comes with significant experience having also held various positions at OT and BT ZSyntegra. At CSC he was responsible promotion and sales of CSC's solution to digitize paper-based patient records for the NHS and was lead in the successful negotiations for the national clinical solution for all 143 prisons in England and Wales.

Raj Purewal has joined from OpenText Corp. Raj has also formerly worked at Rank Xerox and Lexmark International. At Lexmark, he was the Health Sector Sales Director responsible for the NHS-PASA Managed Services Contract, and the National Programme for IT.
