Ensor Holdings plc ("Ensor" or "the Group") Hawkins-Salmon Limited
On 12 December 2008 the Group announced in its interim results statement that the recent poor performance at Hawkins-Salmon Limited ("Hawkins-Salmon"), a subsidiary of Ensor, was being addressed. Unfortunately due to a further deterioration in the market for timber and fencing products, the directors of Hawkins-Salmon have concluded that the best course of action is to place the company into administration. Accordingly, Paul Stanley and Jason Greenhalgh of Begbies Traynor have today been appointed to Hawkins-Salmon.
These proceedings do not affect the Group's other trading subsidiaries which continue to trade normally.
The Group's results for the year ending 31 March 2009, excluding Hawkins-Salmon, are expected to be satisfactory considering the current difficult economic climate.
