Hans Feringa to resign from NORDEN’s Board of Directors

CEO in Team Tankers and member of the Board of Directors at NORDEN, Hans Feringa, resigns from the Board of Directors at Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S.

The resignation is a result of Team Tankers’ announcement of the acquisition of a company that is a potential competitor to NORDEN’s tanker business.

Chairman of the Board, Klaus Nyborg, says:“To avoid any conflicts of interest Hans Feringa has decided to resign from the Board at NORDEN. We thank Hans for his valuable contribution to the board work at NORDEN during the past year.”

The Board of Directors will initiate a search for suitable candidates for the Board and, once this or these candidates have been identified, will give notice of an extraordinary general meeting to conduct election for the Board.
