HSBC Holdings PLC05 November 2007 HANG SENG ANNOUNCES THIRD INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR 2007 The Board of Directors of Hang Seng Bank today declared a third interim dividendof HK$1.10 per share in respect of the year ending 31 December 2007. The third interim dividend will be payable on Tuesday, 11 December 2007, toshareholders on the Register of Shareholders as at Tuesday, 27 November 2007. The results for the year to 31 December 2007 will be announced on Monday, 3March 2008. It is intended that any fourth interim dividend for 2007 that isannounced on that date would be payable on Friday, 28 March 2008 to shareholderson the Register on Tuesday, 18 March 2008. The Register of Shareholders of the Bank will be closed for one day on Tuesday,27 November 2007, during which no transfer of shares can be registered. Toqualify for the third interim dividend for 2007, all transfers, accompanied bythe relevant share certificates, must be lodged for registration not later than4:30pm on Monday, 26 November 2007, with the Bank's Registrars, ComputershareHong Kong Investor Services Limited, at Shops 1712-1716, 17th Floor, HopewellCentre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
