Meggitt wins Gulfstream G250 wheels, brakes and
advanced brake control system
Meggitt PLC ('Meggitt'), the international aerospace, defence and performance sensors group, today confirms that Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (MABS) has been selected to supply the main wheels, nose wheels, carbon brakes and advanced brake-by-wire brake control system for the new Gulfstream G250 aircraft - the all-new super mid-size jet introduced at today's NBAA convention.
The G250 will be the first super mid-size aircraft to offer MABS' advanced brake control technology, which includes individual wheel brake-by-wire and anti-skid control for maximum stopping performance, automatic braking and brake temperature monitoring.
This multi-million dollar contract win follows on from Gulfstream's recent selection of MABS' braking system for the recently announced G650.
