Herencia Resources plc (AIM:HER), the Chile-focussed mineral exploration and development Company, is pleased to provide an update on the following matters.

Guamanga Project Update:

OZ Minerals have advised that the Due Diligence process in relation to the Guamanga Project is progressing toward completion and that they anticipate completion within the next week.

Notification of Interest:

Herencia has received notice on 29 July 2013, that following the recent issue of equity announced on 23 July 2013, The Australian Special Opportunity Fund, a New York-based institutional investor managed by The Lind Partners now holds 109,657,185 Ordinary Shares in the Company which represents 5.67% of the total issued share capital and 5.67% of the total voting rights of the Company.
