GTL transaction - Receipt of regulatory clearance in India

Intelligent Energy ("IE"), the energy technology group, is delighted to announce that an important step forward has been taken toward completing the GTL transaction. 

Yesterday, IE received official confirmation from the Competition Commission of India that its proposed acquisition of GTL Limited's ("GTL") energy management business ("Energy Management Business") has received regulatory clearance. 

IE continues to make good progress with regard to the other conditions required to complete the transaction.
