Grupo Clarín denies allegations

On 6 May 2013, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") filed a note with the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange denying the allegations made in an article published in the newspaper Tiempo Argentino entitled "Grupo Clarín created 11 companies in Panama". The Company ratified that all of its participations in other companies are disclosed in its financial statements and reaffirmed that its activities are all conducted in strict compliance with the law and under the rules of the Argentine Securities Commission, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. This media operation follows other false accusations against Grupo Clarín made by a fugitive of the American justice system that were denied on 23 June 2008 in a note filed with the Argentine Securities Commission. Now, as then, Grupo Clarín again states that all of its financial transactions are duly recorded and are carried out in compliance with all national and international laws.
