Environmental Recycling Technologies plc (AIM: ENRT), the AIM listed developer of specialist innovative technologies focused on plastic waste recycling, announces that is has received a notice of allowance of US Patent Application Number 10/239,039 entitled 'Process for Forming Plastic, Apparatuses for Forming Plastic and Articles Made Therefrom'.

This patent is ERT's core patent in the US for the Powder Impression Moulding (PIM) process which is a process capable of converting mixed waste plastics into a wide range of commercially viable products.

ERT currently has core PIM patents already granted in Europe, Australia, China, New Zealand, Canada, and Singapore.

ERT 's patents are process patents which are licensed out to manufacturers of products on terms requiring payment to ERT.of an upfront licence fee plus annual royalties based on production volumes Licensees can grant sub-licences from which ERT would also receive pass through royalties on every product sold.
