Grant of Share Options

Sefton Resources, Inc. (AIM: SER), the independent exploitation and production company with assets in the East Ventura Basin of California and the Forest City Basin of Eastern Kansas, is pleased to announce that the Compensation Committee of the Board has approved the grant to certain of its directors of options ("Options") over 5,500,000 ordinary shares of nil par value in the share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). The Options have an exercise price of 3.5 pence per Ordinary Share, have a term of 10 years beginning 27 September 2011 and vest over a three year period.

The number of Options granted, together with the resultant beneficial interests of the directors in the ordinary share capital of the Company, is as follows:

The Compensation Committee has also approved the grant of options which have been granted to certain key employees and consultants of the Company over a further 9,000,000 Ordinary Shares, on the same terms as the Options.
