Grant of share options

Arria NLG (AIM: NLG), a leader in the development and deployment of Natural Language Generation ("NLG") technologies, has yesterday granted, under the Company's long term incentive plan (the "LTIP"), options to purchase up to 4,550,000 ordinary shares of the Company at an exercise price of £0.001 per share (the "LTIP Options"). The four recipients who are US taxpayers will receive their option grants as of 1 January 2016. The awards are being made to senior members of the Company's management team to acknowledge outstanding personal contributions and achievement. Participants in the LTIP include the Company's three chief scientists, Dr. Robert Dale, Dr. Ehud Reiter and Dr. Yaji Sripada, and a director of the Company, Wayne Thornhill, Chief Financial Officer.

The awards are made as Restricted Stock Units under the LTIP, details of which were set out in the Company's AIM Admission Document dated 5 December 2013, and will represent approximately 1.1 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. 42 per cent. of the LTIP Options (1,903,958 shares) are fully vested upon the date of the award and the balance of the LTIP Options (2,646,042 shares) will be subject to Company success criteria and will vest, if at all, progressively over the next two years. The performance criteria are divided between a Company revenue target and individual executive performance conditions, as determined by the Company's Remuneration Committee.

Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Wayne Thornhill has been granted 1,500,000 LTIP Options, representing approximately 0.4 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital, and therefore Mr Thornhill now holds options over a total of 1,850,000 ordinary shares of the Company.
