Grant of Options under Countrywide plc SAYE Option Scheme
Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Countrywide plc (the "Company") announces that as part of its all employee Save As You Earn share scheme (the "SAYE" Scheme"), the following Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (each a "PDMR") elected to participate in the SAYE scheme:

Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for options over ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") with an option price of 76.91 pence per share, representing a 20% discount to the share price which was calculated using the average closing share price 3 days prior to the 19th April 2018, being the invite date.
Pursuant to this, a total of 4,989,389 options over Ordinary Shares were granted on 14th May 2018, equating to 2.097% of the current issued ordinary share capital.
The attached notifications, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, give further detail of the number of options granted on 14th May 2018 under the SAYE Scheme.
