Grant of Patent GB2446229

Ultima is delighted to confirm that, in accordance with the Patents Act 1977, the Company has been granted Patent number GB2446229 by the "Office for Intellectual Property". The technology covered by the patent has been developed by the Company's Green Technology Products division ("UTN"). This patent provides intellectual property protection for the technology used in the Company's "Infineum" range of electric bicycles. The Company intends to fully exploit the commercial potential of its intellectual property covered by this patent over the next few years. The board of Ultima expect the technology to be used by majority of the Company's electric bicycles by the end of 2011.
