Grant of Options to Director

Universe announces the granting to Jeremy Lewis, the recently-appointed Chief Executive of the Company, today, of 4,000,000 options to subscribe at 4.5 pence for ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Options" and "Ordinary Shares" respectively). These Options, which are the first to be granted to Mr Lewis, will vest three years after the date of grant, subject to the closing mid-market price of an Ordinary Share having exceeded 9.50 pence on any trading day during those three years. The Options will lapse if this condition has not been met within three years of grant. To the extent not previously exercised or lapsed, each of the Options expires on the tenth anniversary of grant.

 Following this grant of Options, a total of 20,347,500 Ordinary Shares (representing approximately 9.66 per cent. of the Company's existing issued share capital) are subject to Option.
