UMC Energy PLC01 November 2006 UMC ENERGY PLC ("UMC Energy" or "the Company") GRANT OF OPTIONS 1 November 2006. The Board of UMC Energy plc (AIM : UEP) the uraniumexploration company with assets in Madagascar announces that it has grantedoptions to subscribe for an aggregate of 670,000 new ordinary shares in theCompany to directors, management and staff. The options expire on 31 August2011 (subject to that under the plan, unless exercised, the options expire 90days from the date the grantee ceases to be an Executive of the Company) and maybe exercised at any time up to their expiry date. 470,000 of the options have anexercise price of £0.30 per share and 200,000 of the options have an exerciseprice of £0.50 per share.
