Grant of options

Further to the adoption of the 2012 Option Scheme, announced 13 August 2012, which allows incentive options to be issued to qualifying US-based employees, the Company has today granted in aggregate 14,749,870 options to certain Directors at an exercise price 6.3 pence per Ordinary Share (being the volume weighted average of the closing share price for the month up to and including 12 February 2013) and 2,750,130 options at an exercise price of 6.9 pence per Ordinary Share (110% of the volume weighted average). The Directors that have been awarded the options are as follows:

In aggregate the 17,500,000 options granted to the Directors represent approximately 3.4 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company. In respect of the awards to Fred Krueger and Antony Van Couvering, 2,249,870 options and 9,474,857 options respectively vest with immediate effect. The balance will vest in one-twelfth increments over the next four years. In addition a further 2,350,000 options at an exercise price of 6.3p have been awarded to employees which will similarly vest in one-twelfth increments over the next three years.

Following the grant of the new options to directors and employees, there are in aggregate a total of 41,988,847 outstanding options held by directors and employees representing approximately 7.8 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
