Grant of Options

PhotonStar LED Group plc (AIM: PSL, "PhotonStar" or "the Company"), the British designer and manufacturer of smart LED lighting solutions, announces that upon the recommendation of the Company's remuneration committee, it has awarded a total of 4,350,000 options (the "Options") to acquire ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company to employees of the Company and an adviser who provides professional services to the Company. 

The total options granted include 4,100,000 options issued pursuant to the Company's Enterprise Management Investment Scheme 2007 and 250,000 Unapproved Options.

Of the total, 250,000 Options were awarded to Fenella McKenzie, wife of James McKenzie, the Company's CEO. Following this award, James McKenzie and associated persons hold a total of 9,268,385 share options in the Company, in addition to 18,175,278 Ordinary Shares that represent 8.1% of the Company's total voting rights.

The Options will vest over a three year period in equal instalments on the anniversary of the grant date. All Options granted are subject to satisfaction of certain performance criteria and targets consistent with individual roles. The Options become exercisable when the performance criteria have been met and expire on the 10th anniversary of the date of the grant.

Following this grant of the Options, PhotonStar now has a total of 26,507,272 outstanding options, representing 11.77%. of the total issued share capital of the Company.
