Grant of Options
The Company announces that, following the appointment of David Smith as Finance Director, announced on 28 April 2008, Mr Smith was granted options on 3 June 2008 over 20,000 ordinary shares at a price of 598 pence per share, representing 0.05% of the current total voting rights. 5,016 of these options were granted under the Approved Executive Share Option Scheme and 14,984 were granted under the Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme. The options are capable of being exercised between 3 June 2011 and 2 June 2018.
The Company has also granted a further 77,700 options, under the Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme, to certain other employees on the same terms.
As at the date of this announcement, and inclusive of the above, there are 305,700 options outstanding in the Company, representing 0.76% of the current total voting rights.
